We are pleased to inform you that we have implemented the acceptance of TREX change messages for GLOBEX trades via MQM. 

 

Using these messages, firms can change �non-critical� fields for GLOBEX trades:   account number, origin, and CTI code.  In addition, firms can route trades to the Allocate/Claim System (ACS), the Average Pricing System (APS), or for eligible products, to the Mutual Offset System (MOS).

 

Additionally, we can also send outbound TREX/MQM confirmation messages for all TREX change submissions.  There are three categories of these messages as follows:

 

  •  Successful Update (SC):  The change message was received, and successfully applied.  Data was changed.  Firms will receive a standard TREX message with an action code of �C�.

     

  • Failed Update (FC):  The change message was received, but could not be applied.  (For example, the message specified a non-existent trade ID.)  Firms will receive the main TREX record and an M1 block, including an error code and error description indicating why the change could not be applied.

     

  • No Update (NC):  The change message was received, and was valid, but no data was updated because the data on the message and the data in the clearing system were identical.  There was nothing to change.  Firms will receive the main TREX record with an M1 block, with a specific code indicating this.
